Released this summer on Eskimo Recordings 'Reunion' is a stunning follow up to the German producer's first two critically acclaimed albums and features 14 stunning tracks of sun kissed disco, Balearic house, leftfield pop and guest vocals from the likes of Australian star Panama Music, Belgian singer Ivy Falls, US based vocalist Metaxas and up and coming British singer Tailor.

With Bernhardt’s 2nd album, 'Solar Nights', one of the most successful nu-disco records of recent times the following years should have made the Satin Jackets name a regular fixture on club and festival bills worldwide. Sadly, much like the rest of us, the pandemic saw the producer's horizons limited to the four walls of his new Munich studio. Still with the world out of reach Bernhardt turned to the internet to keep in touch with his fans and sow the seeds for what would become 'Reunion'.

Where the first two Satin Jackets albums saw Bernhardt work to first develop his own sound and then elevate his productions to another level, 'Reunion' reveals an artist now completely at ease in the studio, a musician and producer now confident in both his abilities and artistic vision. From start to finish 'Reunion' is an album that adds new depths and dimensions to the Satin Jackets sound whilst sounding utterly unforced.

"The feelings that music inspires can be intensely personal but at the same time it's a universal language that can help us communicate and break down the barriers between us and connect. So this album is meant as a canvas for people to paint the colours of their existence onto and share with others, an escape from a sometimes harsh reality but also an offer of a common space where we might remember what makes us stronger."

Louis La Roche returns with ‘All I Had’, the first single to be taken from his stunning new album, ‘Sleepless Nights’.

All I Had is a dark, infectious, Nu Disco stomper. With a hypnotic bassline, detuned synths and haunting vocals, the track combines new and 80’s nostalgic sounds. It’s unmistakably a Louis La Roche song, euphoric yet melancholic. Recorded and Produced by Brett Ewels, the track perfectly showcases Ewels’ undeniable song-writing prowess and flair for a hook.

His hugely anticipated new album, ‘Sleepless Nights’ retains the funky, rich, catchy songwriting of its predecessor ‘To Rest Is To Rust’, but pushes Louis’ unique sound in exciting new directions. Lyrically, too, it’s a darker tone. “If the first album was about romance, break-ups and relationships” Brett explains, “This album is it’s dark successor. My vocals are more manipulated, basslines are more aggressive and everything is so much more atmospheric, almost cinematic”

Tim Bernhardt, AKA Satin Jackets, returns in March with his first proper single of 2020, the brightly optimistic 'I'm With It' featuring American singer, songwriter Metaxas. Returning to the leftfield pop that characterised last year's critically acclaimed album, 'Solar Nights', the new single artfully pairs Satin Jackets' distinctive musicality with Metaxas's intimate vocal delivery to create a vibrant uplifting song brimming with optimism.

Having met in 2019 after Tim remixed Metaxas's hit 'Be Real', the pair quickly realised they were a perfect fit for each other as Metaxas explains. "After meeting Tim through our collab on Be Real: Remixes, we instantly hit it off and decided to work together on a song. Tim sent over the first version of 'I'm With It' and I immediately felt a connection to both the groove and instrumentation."

"I remember writing the verse and chorus in one go, and feeling like the song's hopeful chord progression needed suitably hopeful lyrics. The song talks about reinforcing relationships and stating definitively that one is present and supportive. Most people struggle with insecurities and a true friend and partner usually does their best to keep these away."

With more than 35 million streams on Spotify alone, Satin Jackets' 2019 album 'Solar Nights' cemented his position as one of the biggest, and best, nu-disco producers working today. As we ease ourselves into 2021 clubs may still be closed but that hasn’t slowed down nu-disco star Tim Bernhardt, AKA Satin Jackets. Now he’s partnered with up and coming UK vocalist Tailor on new single, ‘Relapse’, and again struck gold as Tailor’s vocals, touched with a sense of nostalgic melancholy, are the perfect fit for Tim’s smooth mix of disco beats and evocative melodies.

“‘Relapse’ is about a relationship that you know is destructive in the long run but you can't help going back to,” explains Tailor. “Those moments of bliss, excitement and then serenity are fleeting but you'd rather stay lost than face the reality. The song’s influenced by the dance floor and the vibe you get when you lose yourself to everything in the moment, but deep down you know the feeling can't last.”

Having clocked up more than 50 million streams on Spotify alone for his 2019 album ‘Solar Nights’, 2020 saw Tim build on that with a string of acclaimed instrumental releases and hit collaborations with Metaxas and Panama. Kicking off 2021 in fine style ‘Relapse’ is sure to follow in their footsteps and once again is as perfect an accompaniment to chilling on the sofa as it would be to nursing a cocktail around a pool.
