Protean Agenda: yea so basically every time i sent a demo she sent it back with like so many revisions it like wasn't even "my thing" anymore

KATAL: And every time I sent a demo, they complained about it being... The word you used was "incomprehensible". I don't think it's hard to understand. I like to make it so there's nothing TO understand, actually. Peeling back the layers of aestheticism until the bloody skeleton of function remains.

Protean Agenda: this is what i am talking about. what does that mean. i just make music cus its fun i really hope i don't have to peel corpses

KATAL: Well, if you were a real artist, you'd look forward to the next act of mutilation you perform.

Protean Agenda: anyways this track is what happened when we just got exhausted from arguing in the stu and just agreed to start changing random shit without asking permission

KATAL: One would think it would be war, and to some extent, it was. They tried to remove that laser-kick in the first drop so many times. That's my child. Don't kill my child. The results, though, turned out disgustingly coherent.
