This Parvati episode brings you WEIRDOS: "With big pleasure we present our new EP "This town isn't real" WEIRDOS is a duo project formed by two Italian music producers: Aztec Dosage and Leso. Longtime friends, born and raised in the same area, they connected through a shared passion for psychedelic trance. Their nerdy background played a key role in sparking their journey into music production. After years of experiencing parties and festivals together, their shared vision materialized in 2013 in Goa, where they officially gave birth to Weirdos. The name was inspired by the colorful mix of individuals they encountered—people from all corners of the globe, each with unique backgrounds but united by a common love for psytrance and its beautiful weirdness. Because in the end, we're all weirdos in our own way. The project's concept is rooted in diverse musical influences, blending deep, dark atmospheres with hi-tech rhythms. Weirdos embody the forest vibe while injecting groovy energy, powerful leads, and obsessive sound editing into their sets. They create music with sharp ears and a heart tuned for the dancefloor. Their debut release came in 2014 with Mighty Quinn Records, followed by collaborations with several other labels, including Visionary Shamanic Records, Discovalley Records, and Sonic Loom Records. In late 2019, they proudly joined Parvati Records.
