‘Winds of Change’ is a mix of blues and rock, a shift from the band’s sound on the first album. It features intimate verses weaved among heavy hitting choruses containing powerful vocals and drums; keeping with the band’s signature format.

This is a pivotal release for the band. It is not only the first piece of content to come out since ‘The College Years’, but it is the first intentional recording since the album. ‘TCY’ was recorded prior to the decision being made to actually form a band.  Herbivore is no exception to the struggles every band undoubtfully faces, but the music keeps everyone committed to building the whole that is larger than any individual.  This is our musical rendition of overcoming distance and looking toward our future.

The song was live-tracked with the full band in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The vocals were tracked in Joshua Tree, California at Sky Lab Studio.
