The other day we met with our friends Jesse (@jessekave) and Theo (@theolh96) [Raketa95]  in Theo’s ballet studio in Anenské Náměsti. We are counting down the days until our season closing where they will be joining us, but in the meantime, they have shared with us a set for our hereandthere podcast series. 

Raketa95 is the duo project of Prague’s power couple Theo and Jesse. Locked at home during the COVID lockdown, the couple spent their time digging through music and mixing. It wasn’t long until they felt quite comfortable playing together, gliding between various genres, and always with high energy.

Exhausted Modern (@exhausted-modern) is a Czech musician and sound designer, releasing music with his label Endless Illusion. Sonically he is mostly interested in dystopic sonic constructions that rely heavily on analogue technology, industrial feel, and rawness of character and syncopated kicks.

Today is Lindsey Herbert’s (@lindseyherbert) birthday, and to celebrate she has shared a new mix with us. It’s been two months since we celebrated the new year with her, so we are happy to be able to experience her intense energy and rhythms once again. 

Originally from the US, Lindsey Herbert is a DJ and producer who stands out for her ability to explore the deeper realms of techno with psychedelic elements and heavy sonic textures. She is quite involved in the scene in San Francisco, but lately we have seen her all across the map in Europe and the US.

We met Liane and heard her play in Amsterdam last spring. We were intrigued by her tendency to go outside the boundaries of techno sound, so it is a great honor to have her with us for the 19th edition of our hereandthere podcast.

We’re launching a new recording series straight from Strahov Arena. Each month, we’ll be sharing live recordings from our gatherings at our new temporary home.

Kicking off the series is a special live set by our dear friend and Soft Limits daddy, @feeenicks. Filled with dubby techno and tribal influences, this dawless live set was recorded during the Arena Opening at HERE, with Feenicks playing on the Elektron Octatrack and Elektron Digitone.

Our fresh resident, @adama_tron, is a virtuosic selector, infusing his sets with a playfulness that shines both on and off the decks. For our 24th podcast, Adam explores the deeper end, drawing from his favorite labels like Edit Select, Radiance, and Illegal Alien Records, alongside select V/A compilations. The result is a spontaneous journey through high-tempo techno mayhem, all while staying true to his love for expansive melodies, deep grooves, and a juicy bassline.

Raw, punchy, consistent. Nina Farrina is joining our gathering with Petrohradská Kolektiv at Čistírna1906 this Saturday. To get a taste of what’s to come, she has generously shared a mix with us.

Nina, one of the hardest-working DJs in town, is fully dedicated to her craft. She co-founded the Bratislava-based club series Cliwax, as well as the Prague-based Bruxa and NoRemorse. Her floor-oriented sets are known for their intense, hypnotic atmosphere, paired with high-energy performances. As a first-generation immigrant, Nina’s story resonates with many in hereandthere, and it fuels her drive to keep pushing forward, which is evident in everything she puts her hand to. It’s only fitting to welcome her back to cleanse us at Čistírna throughout the night.

Ema aka Zazitech first joined our second vinyl release gathering at Strahov back in January, opening the night with her signature punchy grooves. The founder of the Brno-based queer collective EERIE, Ema has been actively paving the way for a new generation of queer creators from Central Europe. Her rebellious spirit is reflected in both the ethos of her collective and the raw intensity of her sound.

Though young, her commitment to the scene is already evident, shaped in part by her time at Fuchs, where she soaked up the influences that now define her current direction.

Our next guest in the podcast series is Max Dewavrin. Originally from Lille, France, Max’s move to Berlin in 2017 marked a turning point in his musical journey. His DJ sets are best described as raw and classy—delivered with attention to detail, and seamless blends. He draws inspiration from classic labels like Primate Recordings and continues to explore current sounds from imprints like Token and Blueprint.

Beyond techno, Max explores house music through VICE/VERSA, his collaborative project with Ogazón—a reflection of his versatile taste that moves effortlessly between the HERE and THERE, a duality we explore with each of our gatherings.
