Because we moved away when I was a little kid, processing their deaths was an odd experience - they were a big part of my early childhood, but almost not at all for my teen and adult years. Running (SOTW #12)

Here Be Monsters is an independent folk-punk project currently based out of Georgia consisting of one member. It delivers lo-fi, emotive music through the use of traditional punk and folk instrumentation, such as guitar, drums, bass, mandolin, and concertina.

The subject matter of Here Be Monsters is largely personal and philosophical, however it prides itself on having an unapologetically feminist ethos and remains a strong ally to the LBGTQ community.
