Sara and I met back in September of 2023 at a concert for our mutual friend TAROT. Sara was also performing that night and I heard in person how talented she was. I had heard about her because of our other mutual friend DOT, who I've remixed before on "Follow Me," and Dot herself just had released a remix of Sara's song "Hurts." I thought it would be a good idea to expand my network naturally and talked to Sara after the show to see if she would be interested in a collaboration, considering we had already collaborated with a few of the same people. She expressed interest in the collaboration, and I spent the next few months crafting some ideas to send to her.

In the beginning of the new year, I had an instrumental done that I knew would be a perfect fit for Sara's voice, and when I sent it to her she expressed enthusiasm for the idea and began working on writing to it immediately. Over the next couple months we exchanged ideas back and forth until we arrived at "Miss It," a unique but somewhat nostalgic summertime house track that we both really loved. I loved my experience working with Sara, she's extremely talented (and funny) and she has a rare ability to take any song and make it the best it can possibly be. We hope you guys enjoy this one as much as we enjoyed making it!
