Mission Statement
The Heritage Arts Company exists to rouse the public imagination through both creating its own work and producing work by others. We employ spectacle to inform, to entertain and to teach. We are an arts company, undertaking all mediums and artforms, but our home is in live performance. Our guiding principles are equality and honesty. Above everything else.

About Us

Founded in 2007, the company started life with small scale installations, performances and artistic residencies. Bringing in outside artists to feature as part of our curations started to make more sense, and we enjoyed working in cross-disciplinary art. Festival work increased the scope of this, and brought us to where we are today. We are based in London but we use artists and designers from all over the world.

What Do We Actually Do?

We have made or produced live music, radio plays, straight theatre, modern dance, gallery installations, set design and installation, multiplayer games, stand-up comedy, horticulture, educational experiences and the VAULT Festival – the largest arts festival of its kind in London. We’ve worked with, or created work for, the Battersea Arts Centre, The National Theatre, Punchdrunk, The Shunt Lounge, Secret Cinema, The British Fashion Council, Google’s Niantic Labs, Atlas Obscura, King’s Cultural Institute, Lumin, Camp Bestival, The Insider Festival, Harrods, Sky Atlantic, The Hospital Club, Lily Vanilli, the Old Vic Tunnels, IdeasTap, Hammer Horror, The Flicker Club, The Medical Research Council, Ron Arad, The Roundhouse, English Heritage, & more.
