Drifting in with the cool breeze of winter’s last enduring breath is summer’s balearic charm. We are thrilled to have Z8phyR back in the Soluna spotlight, conjuring a magical EP of blissful melodies and serenity. Z8phyR’s “Spirit of Color” is a testament that Melodic Progressive House is not just a philosophy, it’s a way of life.

The EP begins with the titular "Spirit of Color," a progressive dazzler with an eccentric hook and an enthusiastic rhythm. Spirit of Color may refer to the positive vibes people project when summer unleashes their most radiant characteristics. “Lumen Crystalli” receives its name from luminous crystals. These could be cavernous minerals beneath earth’s surface, the stars in the sky, or the sparkles in a lover’s eyes. Melodic arps dot the wondrous soundscape of these celestial halls and make balearic dreams come true. “Lunita Amore” is a beautiful composition laced with alluring piano plucks, chimes, and hypnotic melodies.

Dutch label veteran Manu Zain is back with a brand new 4-track downtempo and chillout EP, "Entrainment Pt. 3."

"Reset" takes off on a light note, featuring the hypnotizing vocals of Dutch vocalist Chris Hordijk. The atmosphere consists of stunning, subtle guitar riffs, lush pad layers, and calm percussion elements. In "Spirit," we witness subtle, beautiful piano strokes, which are accompanied by mesmerizing background arpeggio layers and intricate sound effects. "Without You" is a song with a genuine soft touch -- from the blissful pad layers and delicate harmonies to the firm, yet gentle percussion elements. In "North," a spell-binding melody quickly emerges, while numerous captivating arpeggios lurk in the background. We welcome back US-based Deidian, with a beautiful and brightful EP titled Come To Light. Accompanying with the two originals, we have remixes from label returning artists Kevin Holdeen and Shion Hinano.

Starting with Come To Light, the original brings out the positive vibes and brightful tones. The atmospheric pads and vocals provide the softness, whilst the chords and melody deliver the joy and brightness. On the other hand, bringing a more electric and game sound-like feels, Colors & Colours plays with the fun factor. Not the usual progressive vibes, but with distorted melodies, heavy beat and widen pads and strings, it carries with the joyful sensation.

On the remixes, we have Latvia-based Kevin Holdeen, previous appeared on the label with remixes on MLDJ and New Horizons back in 2018-2019. He returns to the label and provides a slower take of Come To Light, remaining the melodic elements and the vocal chops throughout the whole track. It also delivers with a hint of melancholy and loneliness. We also have Japanese melodic producer Shion Hinano, back in 2018 with his single release Scent. With his return to the label, his signature summer vibes portrays on Colors & Colours, the divine and miraculous approach starts with the lighten pads and airy arps, and brightens with the soft piano and glistering melodies.
