Volamos al Sur del mundo, y justo en el centro geográfico de Argentina nos encontramos con Córdoba, la provincia natal de Ghigo, el productor que nos regala este nuevo release de Hermine Records. Y la calma natural de la ciudad se deja ver en su música; colchones armónicos, algunos vocales discretos y un slow beat que mece la cabeza, como los árboles lo hacen con la suave brisa del comienzo de la primavera.  
Ghigo se inició siendo guitarrista, hasta enamorarse del deep house y volcarse de lleno a la producción. Y no solo algunos prestigiosos dj’s de la escena internacional pusieron sus ojos (y oídos) en él, para darle lugar en sus bateas; también nosotros nos damos el gusto, de que su música y su “600 ep” se convierta en nuestro Hermine número 25.

Nos dirigimos hacia el Oeste, cruzamos las altas cumbres de la Cordillera de Los Andes, y aterrizamos en la ciudad de Concepción (Chile), para escuchar el remix de Pablo Inzunza, con un loop housero, claps con audio clásico y los pads que empiezan a moverse de manera insistente, los vocales siguen hablando serio y algunas percusiones se predisponen para una pista que quiera bailar.

En este viaje de ida y vuelta por el sur de América, regresamos a Córdoba, porque todavía nos queda escuchar la versión de Kevin Schwzer, que además de editar algunos de sus trabajos en Little Helper, también ofrece para Hermine una versión de 600, a la que le suma un groove de bajo y algunas percusiones acuáticas, que ponen el track en una atmósfera relajada pero que no deja de mover el pie.

He oscillates between a hypnotic set of of bouncing synth lines and a range of menacing saw tooth overdrives, constantly fluctuating between them both, to leave you guessing and itching for each groove throughout.

On the flipside, the Frenchman lays down a sharp crackling high-end drum groove with a range of playful percussive hits, giving 'Geometric' it's real rolling feel. Throwing in some atmospheric chord lines against dark robotic vocal cuts, he rounds off the EP for what is a real looming rotation.
