I recorded this podcast at home after 2 years of only playing music during parties so it was refreshing to add in some stuff that wouldn't make much sense in a club. Well anything makes sense given a proper context.

Peapod 21: Officer Hippest Vest - March 2013

This is a home recording of several tracks that were rustling my jimmies in 2013. It all made sense 6 months later when we found ourselves listening to this on some portable speakers while having brunch on a deserted beach in a dream-team line-up featuring my partner, DJ Blisi, Club Cheval's DJ Panteros666 and his partner, Ines and our weekend driver, DJ ViLLAGE after our 2 years anniversary party.

Peapod 22: Macabre Wide Neons - July 2013

This was not played during a party, I recorded this at home in hopes of playing alongside one of my personal favorites, Stimming. The event didn't go through which only added to the excitement of hosting him ourselves at some point. 
Looking forward to that!

Peapod 24: Feel - August 2013

This was recorded during an Origami Sound collective showcase. A bunch of people showed up, some random mix-ups in the timetable turned this into the highlight of the night even though it should've been just a build up for more impactful acts. 
It all went down a couple of days after our cat passed away, that was a pretty rough patch. She'll be forever in our hearts <3 

Peapod 25: Percy - September 2013

This was recorded during a party we did in a shady palace-turned-bar/bistro. Some proper eerie, action-packed and at times dark music because that's what I felt was appropriate. Such is life.

Peapod 26: Roll Credits - October 2013

This was the first hour of music that I played when warming things up for a party with T. Williams and Benjamin Damage. 
It was really enjoyable for me because they have these really cool monitors in the DJ booth, it really makes you feel like you're playing for yourself, they're that good. 

Peapod 27: Quassation - November 2013

i played this really eclectic set as part of an audio-visual show that I put together alongside ViLLAGE and Blisi back in 2012 after a Floex concert (aka Tomas Dvorak, the man behind that timeless Machinarium soundtrack). 

Not your average venue and definitely not what people would expect after a live band playing (sort of) jazz. People liked it anyway, they stuck around throughout the set and had some nice words to say when it was over. This was fun.

I recorded this around the end of 2010 as a tribute to some of the most influential sets in my life - the Chilled Out Euphoria mixes by Solar Stone from way back in 2002. 

This was obviously not played in a club.

I played and recorded this while warming things up before Scuba played in my hometown. Good vibe, some people even did a sing-along to one of the cheapshots. A couple of cheapshots never hurt anyone.

A narrative set always feels better. This one starts out energetic and somewhat eerie, it shifts into weirder, at times darker territories and then it progressively cools down, becoming prettier and positively emotional by the end. Just like my life in the past 6 months.
