Iniciando os lançamentos desse ano, MEDUSA é o segundo compilado de músicas lançado pelo projeto de @nog4yra (POA-RS). Produzido entre 2020 e 2021 com parcerias de PV5000, FELIX e BELLA, Medusa conta com 4 faixas petrificantes, altos bpms acompanhados de synths envolventes flertando com electro, jungle e trance.
Nog4yra é projeto de Una Aka Nogueira. DJ, produtor musical e atuante no coletivo e selo LGBTQIA+ @ttt.tt.tt.ttt de Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul.

O projeto idealizado por Una, realiza a quebra necessária de um hiato temporário da nossa label. Estamos honrades de poder ter esse impulso, demonstrando que é hora de elaborar novas possibilidades, solidificar o silêncio e renovar propósitos.

A mainstay of Jensen Interceptor’s sets throughout the summer, International Chrome are proud to announce the release of Área 4 by JLZ, the first EP by the Brazilian artist on the label. Based in São Paulo, JLZ is one of the artists we’re working with to explore the future of the Electro sound and its shared sounds with other forms of club music across the globe.

“Welcome to Area Four, a place where secret experiments have been taking place under the guidance of professor JLZ.
In his lab, he has been working on a mutant hybrid, splicing together the genes of Detroit Electro and Baile Funk, and now the first test subjects have escaped and are on the loose.
Be careful! They are highly contagious. Do not handle without proper training.”

International Chrome is a label focusing on electro, booty bass, and other club-oriented party sounds
run by Australian producers, Jensen Interceptor & Assembler Code. Since 2018 it has released music by legendary producers including The Hacker, DeFeKt, Nite Fleit, and Amadeezy, as well as the hottest
newcomers on the scene today such as LUZ1E, Jpeg.luv, Cyphon, and Dagga.
During 2020 the label also launched a series of compilations called International Chromies to raise money for various charities close to the artists’ hearts.
The first 11 volumes have so far raised funds for good causes including IRC In Yemen, US Bail Funds, SUFRA - a London-based Food Bank, as well as funding for Underground Music Academy, and School
Of Bop - music academies working with young people in Detroit and London, respectively. The label aims to release one compilation every month, with all money going directly to the charities chosen.

PREMIERE: JLZ - Área 4 (Bem Vindo) [International Chrome]

Born in the US, Avernian grew up in a household that was a melting pot of cultures. With his mother being German and his step-dad being Peruvian, he was exposed to many different kinds of music from a young age. Cumbia, Afro-Peruvian and even Guaracha were constants in his life.

Fast forwarding to his late teens, Avernian moved to Germany to study and get in touch with his German heritage. By doing this, he discovered his love for electronic music and delved into producing. Over the years, he found that the UK sound resonated with him in ways that reminded him of his childhood and so he decided to move to the UK and immerse himself.

Avernian’s music pays homage to all of these influences that have played a part in his journey. Elements from these influences can be heard clearly in his output. A sound that cannot be pigeon holed or defined by a singular genre.

Now living in Manchester, he runs his own label and party series by the name of Lurch, regularly inviting down friends and artists he feels a personal connection with in their music.
On this debut album, Avernian wanted to showcase every different influence in his music; from Cumbia, Dancehall, UK Funky, Techno, UK Techno, Shaabi.

It’s an accumulation of 2 years work also features samples from family recordings & videos to show the connection between Avernian’s music and childhood.

@marcelulose , produtor e dj da região metropolitana de Porto Alegre, traz nesse ep um futuro distópico representado pela influência de elementos do electro e doses de funk e drum'n'bass. NATRAMA surge em meio a tecnologia e baixa qualidade de vida como forma de pixo virtual para vandalizar o estado de raiva e ansiedade, além de um autodeboche.

Tudo isso dentro de um ambiente rítmico constante que se completa em meio a ruídos e distorções exageradas, criando uma espécie de reboque na atmosfera apresentada.

Martinelli is the electronic alias of Henrique Martinelli, a producer currently based in São Paulo. Through the use of synthesizers and drum machines and drawing from a wide spectrum of colors and timbers that manage to mix his main influences ranging from techno, to electro, breakbeats and acid. Martinelli cooks up a raw and erratic sound filled with restless and provocative energy.
