Me and my Aunt were really close, she was an important part of my life from as far back as I could remember. We always had a lot of fun together, and her cooking was second to none. When I was just 10, she unexpectedly suffered a massive stroke, which she never recovered from, she was only 51. Devastated that she was no longer in my life, I was caught up in my feelings and I was all over the place. Anytime I thought of her, I would just start crying; I tried to push the grief deep down and try to forget about it, but it just made things worse. After a few years of this cycle of grief, I started to focus on the good times that we had, all that I learnt from her, and what all of that means to me today. I wanted to capture the emotions of the journey from loss through to acceptance, and finally appreciation. I felt it was the right time to create this song to help other people who have also suffered the loss of a loved one, especially during the pandemic.

I bought FL Studio 20 a few months ago and have made 6 songs since, and this is one of them; the quality of my music has been extremely good ever since. The genre of this song is Rage, I was inspired when I heard a few artists around me use it.  This song is all about letting loose and just having some fun. Hello, I am Heroic D, a teenage rapper from the UK.

The inspiration for this song was the lockdown of March 2020 (due to COVID-19).
I was feeling really down about not seeing my friends, so I decided to put my thoughts and feelings into this track.

I wanted to dive deeper into the subject, beyond just missing my friends (such as describing how it felt, how my perception of my environment had changed and how I could make the best out of a bad situation).

And that is how I came to create my best work yet.
