Nostalgia release because of the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall in the same year: 1989. Best year ever.

That's me in the GDR >30 years ago:
Calling myself "The Shock" I made 7 full albums (released on self copied cassettes) with tracks like this. This one 's got a quite subversive text: At first glance it hails the last East German election process which happened in May 1989 - but the songs absurd overstated praise wasn't meant to be taken serious but to mock the system with it's complete fake processes by imitating the states wannabe fanboy. This recording was played by the legendary Lutz Schramm in his nation wide Parocktikum radio broadcast in January 1990 after the tape was lying around for more than 6 months at the DT64 radio station... I never had the chance to say this, but if you ever read this Lutz: Thank you!

BTW: All glory to the Yamaha PortaSound PSS-470 and the two Stereo Cassette Boomboxes I had access to (and my elite Regie 2000 Mixer).
