The instrumental Song „Riviera’76“ is a positive musical homage to my memories of the Yugoslavian Riviera, where we used to dive, pedalo, surf and sell shells found in the water on the beach as children. The positive downbeat is realised with flattering strings, a charming Rhodes and a strong but groovy beat.

When I go outside these days, I like to see nature lit up magicly in golden and brown colours without them having a depressive effect on me. Some of the leaves are still hanging in the trees, colouring the landscape in bright golden-yellow, red and brown, and as you walk through the forest, these colourful leaves line the path, rustling and rustling gently in the wind and every step. I find this moment of the year very impressive and positive and I savour it until the coming onset of winter turns the gold to white. 

Golden Brown is the world around me right now. It is precious and yet fleeting. I love this time because it is the golden-brown farewell to a white winter and a new year and beginning. In this groovy, jazzy, lofi-hiphop song, a warm, autumnal Rhodes and old piano accompany a vintage synth on its journey through the magically coloured carpet of leaves.

Jazz and democracy are based on similar values: freedom, interaction, diversity and development. While democracy describes a form of society, jazz is the musical translation in sound and expression. With that in mind i wrote this little defiant but resistable positive chilled lofi piece for Rhodes, Bass and Drums with sparkling Synths and a Celeste
