Serenity takes you on a magical journey through the calm waters of downtempo and organic house while slowly dragging you into the depth of the progressive house ocean. Only to then release you directly onto a beach house party. It is a long journey indeed, but it was a bliss to make it and hopefully it will fill you with joy too!
It is strongly recommended to take the full trip, but because of feedback I splitted this set into 4 pieces, so you can join in between more easily :)

Serenity Part 1

Tempest lets you ride the storm on your dancing shoes, surging up from a progressive house rain shower and then materializing into a full blast techno thunderstorm. Enjoy the ride!

I am yearning for dancing so much! Can't wait to go out and play and dance again.

Extra für euch habe ich hier ein zwei stündiges Set gebacken, mit vielen leckeren Zutaten, wobei ich darauf geachtet habe die Mischung aus Neu & Alt, Hype & Underground ausgeglichen zu halten. Die wichtigste Zutat war dabei aber natürlich die Leidenschaft zur Musik und zu House im speziellen :)

AfterHour New Years Eve 2013

What a miraculous ride through rain and fog at one of the most beautiful and mystic floors I've ever seen,
It was such a lovely experience to see people dance in the rain! The atmosphere was pure magic and the whole festival waasa so full of love and joy!

It's been 16 years since young Herr Potpourri started DJing back then still with vinyl. Without any references to club culture, I just wanted to mix my favorite music together after hearing a real techno set for the first time. With a DJ school I started my adventure, which has now accompanied me for more than half my life and has influenced me more than any other decision in my life.
But I don't want to wallow too much in nostalgia, I want to use this moment to thank everyone who accompanied me on my way! From Konrad and the Electrozid'ers, who got me interested in open airs and raves, to Ronny & Alex from StaTrax, who introduced me to the Berlin rave scene and the whole CLN crew, with whom I could live out my interest in illegal raves & open airs so wonderfully and who taught me so much! But also Kati, who accompanied me over the years with her designs and covers and the Mangos, who I got to know through music and who showed me so much love on so many levels in life. I just realized that listing all the people over the 16 years is probably beyond the scope, so I'll leave the rambling, but all those who feel left out: my deepest thanks to you too! Every hug, every dance, every like, every joyful smile on the dancefloor - believe me, I appreciate it very much!

I dare to call this my best mix ever, 16 years of music in 5 1/2 h of mixed melodic tunes, starting with Organic House, Deep House and Progressive House, than going to shake your ass with Disco, Vocal and Tech House and ending with melodic Techno!

Ein Set für DEN perfekten Sommertag!
Und das ist wohl das einzige Set von dem ich behaupten kann, dass ich währenddessen 5x schwimmen war :D Was für ein Wetter! 32°C, aber mit euch war es ein feuchtfröhlicher und auch entspannter Sommertag mit Wasser, Sonne und tollen Leuten <3 vielen Dank!
Schade, dass die Polizei dann doch schon 20:30 Uhr vorbei kam ^^

Sweet Seventeen OpenAir

Learning to dive was one of the best decisions I made last year.  It's such a different vibe down there. I love the underwater world and all its inhabitants. And I find most fascinating are not the big sea creatures, but smaller fish, corals and mussels. Like this small giant clam Tridacna Maxima. It has mesmerizing colors and every clam is different! That's why I think that this trippy and very sunshine dependent clam is perfect as a mascot for my newest mix. Enjoy in the sun and be colorful <3

Fuchsbau

This is the music I grew up with in the early 90s and 2000s and therefore had a huge influence on my musical taste. If you ever wondered why my sets are so highly melodic and sometimes even cheesy, this is the answer.
Mixing this was an incredible experience, because every single track is full of memories for me. If it is driving on vacation with my parents while listening to this on my Disk-Man (with 40s antishock, wooo), watching the loveparade on Viva, buying my first CDs etc. This is what ignited my burning passion for electronic music!

Actually, I strive to ensure that each of my sets has a reasonably original or even beautiful cover. For years, I was spoiled by knowing artists who put their magical creative powers at my disposal (a huge thank you for that!). Unfortunately, that's not so easy anymore, so I recorded this set back in December 2024 but never released it due to the lack of a cover. Now I'm ready to take the plunge, especially because this set simply deserves to be released, in my opinion. Not only because my good friend MORGEN opens this set with one of the grooviest tracks ever (@morgen_musik check it out!), but also because a lot of love went into this set. It's time to accept my weaknesses (no visual skills whatsoever) and not always feel bad about them and let them hold me back from the things I love.

So this set doesn't have a cover, so what? Maybe this will become a series, and I'll make sets without covers—who cares!
Because all this wonderful, beautiful music deserves to be shared and heard—so once again, a huge thank you to the artists for these masterpieces!

In my previous job, I had the fantastic opportunity to provide background music at our business booth during the Automotive Testing Expos in 2023 and 2024. A DJ playing electronic music at a business trade fair for the automotive industry—unusual, but the feedback was phenomenal every time, whether in Stuttgart, Michigan, or Florida. It was unique to be able to combine my passion with my job, and I am still so grateful for this experience.

What does that sound like? Well, just like Herr Potpourri, only mixed a little worse than usual, because in addition to DJing, I was also helping out at the booth and chatting with potential customers, etc. :D

8 hours of the finest house music – from downtempo to disco. For work, for the café, or wherever you just want 8 hours of awesome music :)

What True Love is and how it feels was kinda of my summer theme. And I experienced a lot of true love this year, thanks to my amazing crews (Crew love is true love!) MangoBaum and CLN, or working with the Werkstatttraum e.V. people on the main stage on the Oewerall Festival was an astonishing and very loving experience too. Another True Love of mine is of course my beloved cover girl, my family, all my other good friends and well, electronic music! So thanks to everyone making me feel loved and being my True Love! Welcome. I don't see myself as an artist. More like an art collector. The Sets and Mixes I create are only an expression of my musical taste and the transitions are the arrangement and decoration of that exhibition. The bands and musicians in my mixes are the real artists. As a gallery owner I try to connect the artists with the audience to foreground their art and work. That's what my sets are for.

Be prepared for sets with a variety of melodic styles like Organic House, Progressive House, Deep House, Tech House, Melodic Techno, Techno, Trance and more! And all of that over a whooping time span of over 18 years of DJing :)
