FlowOne and SeboSellout, record collector, dj and producer duo from Nuremberg / Germany are proud to present you their first mixtape “Seven steps for better listening”. 

A more than 75 minutes mayhem of breaks, loops, drums and samples from all over the world, mixed and edited, chopped and looped, cut and pasted. Obscure sounds and rare classics combined with ill scratches, drum edits and modern multitrack recording are providing the prefect mixture for better listening.

1) Tell us a bit about yourself and your record collection.

Big hello from Jugoslav aka Mr Goju from Montenegro. I’m person who is behind Migrations Radio show. Every week i’m delivering a modern view on contemporary styles. Genres such as modern funk, disco, house soul & jazz became redefined but with real masters, the true originators, in mind. In 2013. I started the small digital label called Digest Music, with an ambitious vision of encapsulate the very essence of what The Migrations Radio Show have stood for over the years.
 

2) 45/7 is all about celebrating the 7". Can you tell us a bit about what you love about the format.

Even that I’m more fan of LP, the things that i always loved about 45s is that everything on that wax you love it 100%. Usualy those relases were the one that made the artist famous. And for sure is best format for DJing!
 
3) One hour of vinyl goodness... can you talk us through your selection for your 45/7 mix?

 It was night full of Glenfiddich and Hoegaarden. The results you can hear by clicking the play button!

45/7 #25 ARTIST: MR GOJU

In January 2002 I entered a remix competition on Dutch VPRO Radio 3FM. 
You could win exclusive tickets to the album release party of The Chemical Brothers' brandnew album 'Come With us', in Barcelona.
You could either remix or cover a Chemical Brothers track or make an original album sleeve. I remixed one of my favorite tracks from their first album 'Exit Planet Dust' , In Dust We Trust. 
Together with one other contester (Joeri Tibbesma), I won.
On 25 January 2002, the winners flew to Barcelona,  accompanied by their brothers (how appropriate)including someone from the record label and reporter Koen Poolman from Dutch music-magazine OOR. We had a great time in Barcelona seeing the Chemical Brothers live, where they did a funky DJ set of exclusive new album material.
Technical background: this remix is made with my old Atari 1040, Akai sampler and the Roland MC 505 Groovebox!
