Coming from prior releases on Sol Eterno (Braunbeck) and Empore (Avidus), Paul is resident at the renown club ‚Die Rakete‘ in Nuremberg, Bavaria, for more than ten years.
Besides that he is part of the ‚Hertz & Seele‘ crew who throw parties in various german cities, including Munich and Berlin.

His EP is eclectic and visits different strands of Indie Dance, while the broken beat and melodic themes carry themselves throughout the three tracks.

The A side, Dead Heat, has it’s highlight in the long and energetic breakdown and has the potential to be a peak time banger.
Luminescence is a groovy piece that gets the crowd going with it’s smooth melodies and melancholic choir.
Last but not least, The EP ends with Sanguine – a collaboration with his buddies Sanio & Zarth, who live in Nuremberg as well, are also part of the 'Hertz & Seele‘ crew and are well known to us for their releases on Plano B Records.

Release twenty-nine on Manjumasi comes from the young German producer Bookwood. Following on a string of notable releases on imprints such as URSL, Kindisch and Cosmic Society, Bookwood once again showcases his sensitive approach to composition and production, smoothly blending indie-pop electronica vibes with a more dance-floor aware deep house sensibility. The three originals all feature gently floating vocals with shimmering synth lines and sturdy rhythm sections, spanning both traditional four to the floor as well as a bit of breakbeat revival.

First up on remix duties is South African producer Fka Mash, who turns in a super lush and trippy interpretation of One Last in his trademark Glitch Dub style. His detuned take on the bassline and slowed down groove are absolutely hypnotizing. Last but not least is a remix of What I Think About from Naveen G, who raises the dancefloor energy level with edgy organic percussion elements, and seriously deep rumbling sub-basslines.

Number twenty on San Francisco’s Manjumasi is the second solo artist EP from label co-founder atish. With the Warbler EP, atish presents a pair of original tracks that showcase strange and unique melodic stylings across two distinct energy levels, both featuring eerie and compelling string sounds with heavy use of creative effects. The title track, Warbler, has a solid late-night dance floor groove with a lush and haunting synth line anchoring the mid-range groove. Abyss takes things deeper, again veering into eerie sonic territories with vocal pads floating throughout the mix. This one sits in a more restrained rhythmic territory, well suited to the mood-setting opening hours.

The package features three top-notch remixes from a collection of very serious producers. Sweden’s Dorisburg turns in an incredibly heady interpretation of Abyss, with sparkling glassy pads juxtaposed against a bouncing synth bassline. Melodic master Rodriguez Jr. takes Warbler in a different direction, weaving the original elements into a tapestry of his signature arpeggios and synth crescendos. Lastly, Fort Romeau turns in an energetic Warbler mix, anchored by a long-building stabby bassline that develops into a real acid-tinged driver.
