Wow time flies… I played my very first dj set in front of a crowd exactly 25 years ago. I used to practice in the basement of a youth club every week because I couldn’t afford my own turntables. When playing my first gigs I was shaking and was so intimidated I could barely speak. Honestly, it’s still the same even if I’m able to hide it now. If I wouldn’t feel this nervousness and excitement any longer I would let it go and quit. 
Since we are still not able to celebrate properly I prepared a podcast for you with my current favorite slow tracks. 
I think it’s perfect for the upcoming summer vibes, for listening at home and dreaming about festivals 🐈💫🌈❤️🦄

10 is a number that looks very nice. Fresh and friendly it says: „Hey Hello, look, now we are two“ ...the 1 and the 0. The binary base of your civilization. Somehow we got the feeling, we should honor this. Why so ever, lets just do it, because it is beautiful, beacuse our music that we record and produce is also just a binary code, transforming over and over again, from our fingers on the synths, from the mic to the mixer, from the mixer into space, back on black plastics or bluetoothing through your walls directly in your ear...and this just because there is a 1 and a 0. This is why we celebrate, to say thank you to these magic numbers. Without these two little friends we would drum our techno with bones in analog caves. Naked. Oh Wait...that sounds great...the URSL Cave Raves. Mmmmh...well we will keep you in the loop on this new project. "Returning to BM after 3 years was intense and instantly reminded me, how peculiar it is to play out in the desert. A constant trial of strength with the forces of nature. 
On Friday night my set at Mayan Warrior was scheduled. I took a quick disco nap before but fell into a deep sleep. Fortunately Chris Schwarzwälder had decided to accompany me. He woke me up and as soon as we started riding our bikes towards the playa we found ourselves in a whiteout which means no visible horizon and you can forget about finding an art car in the deep playa even with massive laser-rays that cut through dust and darkness. Thanks to Chris' navigation skills we finally came across the Mayan Warrior art car right in time 🙏🏼🥺😍 Here is what happened next…"

I am speechless and still processing what happened that weekend 🙀 That was THE party of the year. I am happy and filled with emotions & good memories. I saw so many beautiful people and I’m lucky to call many of them my dear friends. It was non-stop fantastic music 🎶
Thanks to those who came out twice or 3 times or traveled from far away - you all made this event so special ♥️ Thanks to all the amazing artists who played outstanding sets 🙏🏼 I wish I could have listened and danced to all of you but it was physically impossible 🐱 Thank you to my Kater fam and the whole team for working non-stop until Tuesday afternoon 😅
It took a little longer to upload as I was on an emotional high, enjoying the after glow of my party 😍🐱
We all know the classic after an outstanding night - the recorder didn’t work, you forgot to press the record button, there were issues with the cables and so on... This happened to me quite a lot this summer which made me disappointed and sad that another good set wasn’t recorded 🙈 
Thanks to the Kater Blau technicians for finding time to cut such a long party into small pieces and uploading them for the artists 🙏🏼
