I had the pleasure of recording a mix for JAM RTBF that was aired on the radio for NYE.

Hesh - JAM RTBF NYE 2023

efja is a multiform electronics imprint operated by lunar convoy. This new endeavor will mainly focus on the experimental & abstract side of things, with a healthy dose of psychotropism. Man of many trades, lunar convoy has been on the forefront of Brussels club scene since 2015, with regular appearances at C12 and Fuse and his event series Metropolis (co-founder). He’s also co-running a successful deep techno label called NORITE. However with efja, he has set to steer away from any conservative club structures and instead embrace the odd and uncertain.

Hesh is a traveler both in life and sound, having spent recent years between cities like Leeds, Brussels, and Berlin. Along the way, he developed a passion for environmental sound, evolving from house music to acousmatic soundscapes and techno. His DJ sets explore time and space through an eclectic mix of styles.

Pattrn, aka Brice Deloose, is a Brussels-based producer and DJ known for his intricate ambiences and evolving textures. With a background in violin, acousmatic composition, and sound engineering, his work focuses on the perception of time and space. An active figure in Brussels' underground scene, he co-founded FTRSND, Initiate, and played a pivotal role as Fuse club's artistic director.

Hey, this is the mix I played during the Void party at the Mandril in Maastricht and unfortunately couldn't record due to technical issues. So, I decided to put it together and record it at home. 

This mix represents a new musical direction for me and features a track from myself and Olive Si (45minutes in).    Hope you like it! :)

During these formative years he studied electronic music in depth with a special focus on environmental sound.  His musical journey started with house music and drifted away to techno, acousmatic music and soundscapes.  Now part of the FTRSND family and the Initiate team, he keeps on refining his sound which aims to challenge traditional notions of dance-floor music.
