This months Rush Hour comes to you from deep in the studio, where Christopher Lawrence is busy completing his third artist album including five upcoming singles plus remixes for Talla 2XLC and Reaky.

This months special guest is Victor Dinaire from San Diego. Growing into his role as a young DJ in New York City, Dinaire spent countless hours in the underground dance scene honing the craft and learning the art of programming from masters such as Junior Vasquez. Promoting and throwing events to showcase his own sound, Victor quickly began to build up momentum behind his name. The record executives at BMG / Logic Records took notice, and soon offered him the opportunity to mix a series of compilation CDs for the label. His first release "Logic Trance 4" went straight into the Top 5 on the CMJ charts and proceeded to sell out, as did the Timeless Trance series “Midnight and Morning Sessions” and the following “Entrance" on Bonzai Music Italy / Megahit US.

From this initial success, Victor was soon performing out in clubs across the US as a regular at NY's heralded Arc nightclub, Spundae LA, Avalon Hollywood, On Broadway San Diego, and as resident for 2 years at Blue, Miami. Turning his attention towards expanding his audience on a larger scale, Victor began his domination of the airwaves. His weekly radio show "Peak Hour" on Sirius Satellite Radio was soon followed by "Resident Nation" on Music Choice TV, and ultimately Future Progression on XM. Seeking to push dance music beyond the airwaves, Victor took Future Progression to a new level by throwing his legendary New York City loft parties of the same name creating both an immense following in the club and on the air.

Now a mainstay on the international club circuit, Dinaire has performed alongside the world's biggest DJs such as Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, Above & Beyond, Infected Mushroom, Blank & Jones, Steve Porter, Junior Vasquez, John 00 Fleming, ATB, Flava Flav, and Judge Jules at events spanning Vietnam, South Korea, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica and Brazil. Rush Hour 072 (Six Year Annivesary) w/ guests Fergie & Sadrian

Christopher Lawrence returns to the airwaves with another massive installment of Rush Hour. "America's Top Trance DJ" has been production overdrive, taking almost two months off touring to complete his third artist album. He has five new singles including The Seeker and Rock It lined up ready to, as well as upcoming remixes for LMFAO, Lords of Acid, Reaky and Talla 2XLC, who is this months guest on Rush Hour. 

Christopher Lawrence and Talla recently toured Thailand together, including the Zoom Festival in Pattaya. They join together again for this special episode of Rush Hour. 

Having had well over 100 releases, collaborations and compilations to his name, Talla is and will forever be considered an icon in the electronic music community. He has held residencies all over the world, including some of the biggest music festivals, dance brands and venues. He is also recognized for starting one of the first ever all electronic music dance clubs in the world, “Technoclub”, which is accredited to launching the careers of some of today’s biggest names. Artists such as Sven Väth, Paul Van Dyk, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Tiësto, Jam & Spoon and Taucher all made their mark here at Talla’s ‘Technoclub’.

Over his long standing career, Talla 2XLC’s productions, remixes and compilations are well into the hundreds and at one point was running 8 labels out of his home base, Germany. This impressive list of earth shattering productions also include the critically acclaimed “Can you feel the Silence” which charted on the no.14 spot on the German Top 100 Sales Charts. This month’s episode of Rush Hour also features a guest mix from Pharmacy Music's Sean J Morris who has emerged as one of Los Angeles’ hottest trance producers. 

Sean collaborated with Christopher Lawrence on "Rock It", the new single on Pharmacy Music out exclusively on Beatport which will feature on this month’s episode of Rush Hour. Sean also recently played back to back with Christopher Lawrence at Posh Nightclub in Las Vegas at a Pharmacy Music label showcase.
  
Sean’s productions have been signed to top labels including Pharmacy, JOOF, 405, Nucleuz, Label Worx, Bonzai, Spaced Out Recordings, and Moist Music and his releases consistently make the charts on the leading dance music retail sites including Beatport and Trackitdown. 

Sean's music has been played at the world's leading music festivals including Creamfields, Coachella, Macau EDM, Ultra Music Festival, and Electric Daisy Carnival for crowds reaching up to 65,000 people. 

DJ support for his music comes from top artists such as Christopher Lawrence, John “00” Fleming, John Askew, Activa, Paul Trainer, M.I.K.E, Fred Numf, Neil Moore, Manuel Le Saux, Graham Gold, and Protoculture. This months guest mix comes from Fergie & Sadrian comprises Fernando Picciano and Adrian Sartore. These two producers are based in Buenos Aires and influenced by the Uplifting trance & tech trance sound of producers such as Simon Patterson, Christopher Lawrence, Bryan Kearney, John Askew, Activa and Reaky.

The duo met in mid-2009 and produced their first release "Voyage". The track was released by Soviet Recording and supported by Suzy Solar, Christopher Lawrence, Bart Claessen and many more. 

Busy in the studio in 2010, they produced two outstanding remixes "Flash Fire" by Trancelicious and "Try" by Roger Antux. The duo also released their first EP, which is called "Trance Traffic Ahead". Fergie & Sadrian currently doing a collaboration with fellow singer Tartarus and Michelle Hutcheson titled “Beyond the Rainbow”.

Other projects include production in conjunction with Tartarus and Jan Johnston, plus remixes of the tracks “Define Love” and “Somethings Missing”. 

In June 2011 Fergie & Sadrian released a new EP on Pharmacy Music, which comprises the tracks “Musulman T” & “Understand Nothing”. Support in by everyone from Activa, Binary Finary, Jonathan Allyn, Magnus, Manuel Le Saux, Paul Trainer and more.

This month started off with a bang for Christopher Lawrence with promos of his new single Tremor out to DJs with early support in from Aly & Fila, Dash Berlin, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Manuel Le Saux and Sean Tyas to name a few! Rush Hour 043 (Oct 2011)

This months guest is a Rush Hour DJ Mix contest runner up, Damian Murillo. From a young age Damian was fascinated and intrigued by the sounds of electronic dance music. At age 8 he first discovered the raw sounds of hard house through a cousin of his who was a DJ in the LA underground rave scene at the time. Damian had never hard music like that and was truly mesmerized by the art of djing. The seeds for Damian’s future passion for djing were planted early on.  

At age 12 Damian acquired has first pair of turntables and began his DJ career. Initially playing hip-hop at house parties he later attended his first electronic dance music event, the Monster Massive Halloween music festival in 2006 and his life was forever changed that night. Having discovered the soaring melodies and driving baselines of trance music reignited his spark and love of djing and shortly after he began frequenting electronic dance music events and collecting and djing as much electronic dance music as he could. He continued to practice and hone his skills until he landed his first professional booking by age 19.  

Now in his early 20’s Damian lives and breathes electronic dance music and the art of djing is his life’s passion. Already having played alongside some of the biggest names in trance music including M.I.K.E, Stoneface & Terminal, The Space Rockerz, Norin & Rad and many more, Damian is an upcoming talent with his eclectic blend of progressive, tech, psy and trance and meticulous attention to detail in his set programming. Always a crowd favorite among the Southern California rave and club scene crowds the sky is the limit for Damian and he is definitely a name to look out for in the coming years.

Rush Hour 049 (Four Year Anniversary)

Fresh of a Fleming & Lawrence eight hour marathon set at Avalon last weekend, Christopher Lawrence delivers the June episode of Rush Hour with banging new tunes from Vibrasphere, Timelock, Killerwatts, DSP and Pan Papason, Waio and Killerwatts, Profound, Cosmo Tech, Aladiah, Cosmo Tech, Audio Unit and Chromatone.
 
This months guest is Phil Taylor who is rapidly becoming known as a trance dj/producer who raises the tempo. His productions are packed full of monstrous lead lines, pumping kick drums and positively overflow with drive and atmosphere. His percussion work and floor shaking bass lines are infectious.

Phil had his first major breakthrough in 2011 with his debut single ‘Mindcrime’, which rocketed its way into the trance charts and landed at number 2 on Trackitdown’s top 100. 

His efforts gained the attention of John Askew and Solarstone with remix requests coming from legendary labels Perfecto Fluoro (Armada) and Touchstone Recordings (Black Hole Recordings) 

Phil’s early success didn’t stop there and he has since had several chart topping productions including a number 1 with his original ‘Space Sabotage’ and another soon after with his remix for Motif – ‘Never Let Go’

Phil’s productions (along with his permanent collaboration project with Discover Records Matt Bowdidge – ‘Bowdidge & Taylor’) have seen massive support from: Paul Oakenfold, Solarstone, Mark Sherry, Christopher Lawrence, Giuseppe Ottaviani, John O’Callaghan, Simon Patterson, Indecent Noise, Neal Scarborough, Manuel Le Saux, Activa, Paul Webster and many, many more.

With a number of Fraction Records releases under his belt, Phil also has tracks signed to Spellbinding Records, Discover Dark and the newly formed Mental Asylum Records founded by Indecent Noise.  

Having achieved all of this within 12 months, we can safely say that the future is looking very exciting for Phil Taylor and the best is yet to come.

Back from another incredible Burning Man and jetting off to Argentina this weekend, Christopher Lawrence checks in with another slamming episode of Rush Hour for September.

This months guest mix is from Grains of Sound, whose new single “Eager" Fingers” / “Paradigm Bag” is out this month on Christopher’s label Pharmacy Music. 

Grains of Sound is the ambient-psy-trance project from brothers Chris (Exeris) & Jason Sevanick, who gained notoriety with their industrial electronic act, Mindless Faith. Always ones to push boundaries, the brothers turned their production talents to the more underground electronic music sound that had captured their attention.

Grains of Sound came to Pharmacy Music with a proven history of creating genre defying psy-trance. In 2007, Grains of Sound released their double-disc debut album "Rays of Life", comprised of Vol. 1 Down (downtempo) and Vol. 2 Under (ambient), on AlterCulture Records. The album received excellent reviews and their follow up album "Sine Language" (2010) received even greater acclaim for their exploration of different styles and energy levels.  From uptempo psychedelic trance, both progressive and minimal, along with hints of house and breaks, to lush, sweeping soundscapes that wash over sub bass frequencies and deep downtempo beats, to Vast evolving layers, organic textures and sentient sounds leave all beats behind, pure ambient intoxication.
