I'm a missionary evangelist with First Love Missions, Regional Director for Africa.

I heard the gospel in 1996, after a few years of religion without Christ. I tasted the power of sovereign grace and was delivered from dead works and religious bondage. I began pastoring in 1998, but soon after starting a local assembly, my power was gone, and I labored for 17 years in the flesh. Christ was still preached in doctrine and there were showers of blessing, but the supernatural joy and peace were absent, as I walked away from complete dependence on Christ and fresh enjoyment of His glory. I quit to never preach again, but God called me back a year later with the power I'd lost and then some. He put His fear in my heart and taught me to lean on gospel reconciliation every day of my life. No longer do I trust my righteousness or strength, and I walk in His will by the power He gives.

As I was praying about what I could do for this Great God in Christ who reconciled me and restored my soul, I began to feel definitively called to Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa to preach the gospel. I plan to spend the next 2-5 years in Nigeria and the next 20yrs, God sparing my life, ministering in Sub Saharan Africa to establish and strengthen churches. I also have a burden for orphans to be built up in Christ. As I've told friends repeatedly, I've made no sacrifice and am simply following my joy.
