Conceptual albums are a trade mark in the progressive rock universe, and we could not leave this out of our catalog. 

We have come together once more to bring you a new experience in instrumental music. Despite the almost completely different style and instrumentation of the music, compared to our debut release, we believe this will please those who enjoy instrumental music as much as we do.

HESS&FRANZEN are proud to announce the official release of our single An Accurate Depiction of Light.

Somewhere between 2004 and 2005 a song was written, but never recorded. Once in a while someone would say 'Hey, that song...it needs to be recorded'.

Well, we finally did it! - really...FINALLY!

And this was no ordinary recording. Since this was a very special song for us, we decided it would be wonderful to invite some great people to participate. 

These guests are:

Pellek (Damnation Angels, Solo Artist) - Vocals
Marit Børresen (Solo Artist) - Vocals
Ryo Okumoto (Spock's Beard) - Keyboards
Jimmy Keegan (Spock's Beard) - Drums


We are honored to have these absolutely amazing singers and musicians being a part of our music.

This track is completely different from our previous releases. In some way, it's sort of a combination of our both previous albums. But, this might just be a first step towards what we are looking forward to. 
Perhaps a new direction for us. Let's wait and see!
