Hessle Audio welcomes Toumba to the label with the 4 track EP 'Petals'. Based in Amman, Jordan, Toumba explores Levantine microtonality, rhythms, play styles and timbres across the record. Lead track 'Istibtan' is a twist on a typical Jordanian wedding song with deep subs providing the foundations, complimented by crisp percussion and warm melodics.

Toumba is a producer, DJ and sound designer and is a curator at MNFA, a club and arts space in Jordan's capital Amman. A nationally respected artist, Toumba also holds a residency at the MMAG Foundation. The foundation works with a selection of the most gifted artists in the Levant, providing a space for artistic research, production and critical discourse.

Pangaea returns to his own Hessle Audio imprint with 'Installation' - cut-up vocals collide with an instantly memorable, pop inflected, queasily fidgeting bassline hook. Dancefloor carnage with a techno-pop sensibility.

"Silv'ahn," the new EP by Martinou, is a deep exploration of artistic expression. Drawing inspiration from field recordings in Sweden's Skåne region, Martinou forges a connection with the natural world, amplifying the essence of stone, salt, and wood. The result is a signature Martinou style: minimal yet emotionally resonant tracks built on a mysteriously pulsating groove.

Our premiere today, "Boulder Ridge," is propelled by a robust, rumbling groove underpinning a subtle synth sequence and a melancholic yet simple melody that burrows into your mind from the first listen.

Road tested at clubs and festivals across the world during the first half of 2024, it gives a taste of new material to come from the London based DJ, producer and mix engineer.

Will You remixed the title-cut ‘Movements In An Empty Department Store’, edging into deeper, dubbier reals via cascading atmospherics, spiralling dub echoes and lumpy low-end pulsations.
