"As Typeless steps into its fourth release, label head Aloka turns eyes and ears to the horizon with a shapeshifting drop of breakbeat, electro and ambient. Fusing together textural arrangements and genre hybrids, he sets his sights on
experimentation with ‘Inta’.

The opening track ‘Inta’ moves with a dreamy, indirect gaze and wistful melodies as though sighing itself into existence. Amongst it all sits a subtle beat which carries it into the dancefloor realm, yet it’s when they apex together that its weight blooms from the core.

The "New Scene (feat. Ofelia)" remix EP boasts an array of renditions from diverse producers across the electronic music spectrum. Felix Cartal himself steps up to bat with his own take on the track with producer Lucky Date. The result is a progressive house tune with an euphoric melody line featuring Lucky Date’s inimitable big room house sound and Felix Cartal’s electro house touch. Los Angeles-based songwriter/producer/beatsmith TOKiMONSTA takes the reigns with a slow-burning take on the track that showcases her production prowess and skillful drum work, while highlighting Ofelia’s vocals. On his remix, Los Angeles producer and fellow Dim Mak artist Deorro proves his expertise in production by combining bright synth chords, clean guitar riffs, and a banging electro beat. Lazy Rich closes out the package with his remix, underlining beautiful synth lines and piano chords combined with a thrilling electro rhythm.

Alex has been making incredible selections of bass infused, UK and Dub tinged music for many years. A fitting welcome on BPR as the label hits it's 8 year anniversary since its inception in 2014. The platform continues to evolve with an ever growing number of releases representing different sounds across its sublabels and many blossoming side projects alongside.

To honour the frequent mood changes and feelings of relative isolation experienced in the last 2 years, the A side aims to reconnect those lost moments with "Déjà Vu" & "Future Retro" - both tracks channelling a UK centric sound for the dancefloor and a further proof of the depth and quality found across Pugilist's back catalogue. The B side flaunts a completely parallelled sound palette with "Static", a down tempo dubby track partnered by the beautifully stylish "Sky Blue".
