Just like the name suggests the mix of the two tracks into one, 'Alterwinds' brings two compostions that even they are completely different, you could perfectly mix one into the other as both tracks are part of a time where Bookwood tried out different moods, tempos and sometimes even more experimental sounds. 

The EP is an intense and involving mix of feelings - if, on the one hand, the melancholic and nostalgic melodies can lead you to an introspective feeling, on the other, warm beats and basses are always there to push you up, providing a harmonious mental and spiritual balance. 

Closing the EP, Marabu's 'Chamberwinds' remix brings a completely different reading with the addition of several new elements and drums variations that goes way off the obvious, but still, the nostalgic atmosphere remains.
