L’œuvre s’appelle « Les voix du monde », par le musicien alsacien bien connu de l’univers du rock Rodolphe Burger. Il a notamment fondé le groupe Kat Onoma.
Il est également intervenu pour les annonces sonores artistiques du tram de Strasbourg. L’œuvre conçue pour le T3 a été mise en place en 2012, à l’occasion du prolongement de la ligne initiale. 210 « couples » de voix de 7 à 77 ans annoncent ainsi les noms des stations sur une mélodie propre à chaque arrêt. Cinq programmations différentes permettent de ne pas toujours entendre les mêmes couples de voix aux arrêts. Parmi ces voix, des célébrités se sont également glissées !
