C'est aux sons froids de l'électronique mélangée d'une touche d'ambient que s'ouvre la track DISCEDITE extraite de l'album TUMULTO de Hexe Culto.  Hexe Culto, duo italien composé d'un DJ et d'une artiste visuelle, bidouille ici les trucs connus de la musique dansante techno à base de "here we go" pour en faire une oeuvre toute personnelle à mi chemin entre le jeu électronique et les sons distordus très eighties des claviers. Sortie prévue le 5 janvier chez les toujours nickel Tripalium Records.

HEXE CULTO is a new italian A/V project composed of Francesco Rispoli aka Bharika and the visual artist Salvatore Delle Femmine. Their music is made with IDM, acid and amen breaks, with a propensity towards colorful dilatated and distorted ambient sounds. For this first release, TUMULTO, they composed eight tracks built around destructured rhythms : hardcore breaks with an asymmetric re-imagining of overdriven-dub broth. A reconfiguration of rave uproar replayed in a giant fully saturated bass bin.

We first heard of Doc Jay in the infamous Libramix series where his contributions have been and still are constantly on repeat. He has not only created a wonderful mix series (Doc Jay's Inn) during lockdown, but Julius is also a very talented painter and overall visual artist. Hailing from Stockholm, Doc Jay blesses us with "a 2h 20min selection built by 100% Swedish music from the late 80s and 90s (or 97,6 % to be exact, as I accidently threw in a brittish track hehe...)" - in his own words. Well then... cheers <3
