Get On My Level

Hi everyone! Been working hard on a lot behind the scenes lately and I have some exciting announcements to make in the near future. I made this song partially for a game project I've become involved with. It's a super nerdy nostalgic 90's style cyber-dance track using a lot of authentic instruments from the period. This is also the first time in like 10 years that I've recorded my own singing for the vocals, so it's been nice to break the ice and get back into that.



Anyway, hope you like it!



PS. A friend pointed out that some of the vocal melodies sound quite similar to a song from my childhood, but I still like the way they sit in the track and it just adds to the nostalgia so w/e.

Transhumanism

It's been a while since I posted a new track, but I have plenty of new stuff on the way! I wanted to make something kind of mystical and scifi feeling at the same time with this track. I was partially inspired by the music and atmosphere in the first Unreal game (I was obsessed with it growing up), it definitely has one of my favorite OSTs.

I was partly inspired by the music in some of my favorite old Konami games, namely the Castlevania series as I'm sure you'll notice if you're a fan of those.

I'm finally back! It's been a rough year of dealing with health issues and other responsibilities, but I'm back and committed to regularly uploading content again!

This single is also going to be featured on my upcoming (currently untitled) album which will be various forms of Electronic Rock and Industrial EDM. This song was made in Ableton Live and most of the sound design was done using Phase Plant and the Kilohearts suit.

So, this is a complete reimagining of an older track of mine that I felt I didn't really do justice to the first time around (poor mixing, mastering, etc.). I've been wanting to make this track the way it sounded in my head for a long time and what better time than my favorite holiday Halloween?!

This track is inspired by one of my favorite childhood games Zombies Ate My Neighbors. I also kinda imagine this playing as background music for an old arcade scrolling shooter game like Cotton where control a cute little witch on a broom.

Anyhow, I hope you all like it as usual!

The Ghouls Are Due On Romero Street

I've been sitting on this little soundtrack a while now dying to post it and I -finally- got the go ahead! I was commissioned in an indie game project that will remain untitled, and due to some complicated stuff it never was finished but I was really happy with how this hybrid Neo Geo electronic rock/jazz/ska soundtrack turned out.

To give some vague idea of the setting, think somewhere between Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Earthworm Jim and MDK.

It's been *way* too long. Glad to post another track here again! I've been super busy working a video game. I used a lot of 90's Korg synths for this -- among a few other pre-2000's synths. Basically limited myself to the equivalent of a super high end set up you might score a PS1 game with in 1996. Wanted something that sounds like cool music for a Shmup of some sort.

Cathedral Woods

Still on a kick with the whole retro-CD-Console sounding vibe -- decided to modernize it more with this track though. Anyhow, I'm happy to be able to put out another *pretty* sounding track before the end of the year in this creative sketch series! Hope you guys enjoy!



I should also mention that I'm going to be releasing a pack of royalty free retro-anime samples (some of which you can hear in this track) -hopefully- in time for the holidays, but no guarantees with my busy schedule.
