Born from the mind of fiddle player Samuel Damewood and rounded out by lead vocalist Kady Robbins, they set out to create the cure for common folk music by artfully blending traditional bluegrass influence with pop, rock and more experimental sounds.

Heyday Revival performances are high energy, featuring unexpected takes on chart topping songs and poignant (often tongue in cheek) original music. Their unique arrangements, lush three part vocal harmonies, and charismatic stage presence establishes this band as an up and coming act to watch.

Heyday Revival hails from Knoxville and Nashville TN, boasting members with backgrounds heavily steeped in numerous musical styles. Samuel Damewood, fiddle player and vocalist, is a life long bluegrass performer. A former member of the IBMA nominated bluegrass band Pine Mountain Railroad, he is currently touring with Big Machine Records signed artist Drake White and the Big Fire.

Kady Robbins, principal vocalist and auxilary percussionist, is a UT School of Music Jazz Perfomance student and private guitar instructor. In addition to Heyday Revival, she has performed in various local ensembles and bands for several years.

Rounding out the band are guitarist Brian Smith and upright bassist Becky Conway, both seasoned travelers and performers with roots planted in rock and roll.

Since the founding of Heyday Revival in the Spring of 2011, the band has performed numerous concerts around East Tennessee and surrounding regions. Heyday has performed for a variety of events, including Knoxville's Pridefest and thier fundraising events for the last four years, shows at Harrah's Cherokee Casino, fundraising events for Nashville Cares, and many different private parties.
