Quick save, I might crash
Brain freeze, in a flash
Quick glance, then I backtrack
Quicksand, and I sink fast

Head in the fog and I walk with a question
Voice in the wires and I'm glitchin' mid-sentence
Pace in my chest and my heartbeat bent it
Said I'd slow down but I never really meant it

Left on read
I don't take offence 
I've been half there
Tryna make some sense
Talking to myself
More than I admit
Pulled too hard now the thread won't stitch

Eyes in the mirror, they don't blink anymore
Feet in the sand, and I float off the course
Pulled by the tide, and it felt like a force
And I didn't resist, I just walked through the door

Tension faded like a phantom limb

Caught the pulse when I heard the sound
And the mirage was gone, when I turned around
