this song idea came to me on an airplane as i was prepping for a global songwriters connection writer’s retreat (lol i could barely hear myself when i sang this into my phone hoping it recorded ok for me to listen to when i got back home). although i didn’t end up throwing it out as an idea during the retreat, i did bring it to my sweet friend and songwriting mastermind patrick dodge to work on together about 3 months later. and i’m so glad we did. this is a song about evolving and growing into you who are.
