Hezimelo is a dynamic music talent who was born in Dallas TX and raised in Charlotte NC. His interest to music started at a young age where his father exposed him to different musical talents such as Billie Holiday, Teddy Pendergrass, and Sam cook. Hezi would start to pen lyrics at the age of 12 but basketball took over his life. Throughout his high school and college years Hezi goes onto having a successful and highly publicized basketball career, but his passion for music would later take back precedent. Hezi understood that he would need to learn the bases of recording himself; So he decided to enroll into Full Sail University located in Orlando, FL. At Full Sail he began the bases of his career and recorded several songs with local Floridian artist and engineers. His stay in Florida was cut short due to a deadly and nearly fatal car accident visiting his hometown in Charlotte, NC. Hezi decided to cut school short and take matters into his own hands. Over that next year he slowly recovered and started to record music with local talent in North Carolina. Although he had gotten a decent stride back into his regular life, and was set to debut his First EP, he had another hardship upon him which was his battle with Cancer. After a 2.5 year long battle of reteaching himself how to walk, talk, eat, and live a normal life Hezi was determined to finish what he started. Today Hezi is healthy and thriving with a grand catalogue of music that he is ready to release to the world. His debut EP will be out this summer following up his two singles that are available on all streaming platforms.
