I haven't done a multitrack recording in a long time, just put this together for fun. I'm an untrained sax player and wanted to finally use it for something. I used to always put together silly or joke releases for April Fool's Day, so April Fools. 

The title was the original name for the noisecore project Nasopharynx until the day of the first release around this time in 2016. It was inspired by the Godflesh and Agoraphobic Nosebleed songs of the same name.

I've had this idea in my head for a long time; recording a bluesy jam and layering noise over it to symbolize what working overnight retail does to me. Ironically, while working that job, I may have damaged my throat to the point where I can no longer do vocals for music, despite planning to do so for this. Enjoy the cheap guitar interface I used from 10-15 years ago with significant latency, lol.

Graveyard Shift Blues

I'm staying the week in a hotel, it's 4 in the morning, and I packed a contact mic. It was inevitable. Unfortunately, my recording did not render correctly and it came out with unintended results. It somehow came out significantly shorter than the actual 'performance'. 

I said fuck it, and rendered it again with effects. I like experimenting with chance and sounds I can't control, so in a way, it worked out. Enjoy.
