This song started with me staring out of the bay windows of my 500 sq. ft. apartment 2 weeks into shelter-in-place in San Francisco. I didn’t know how long the quarantine would last or how the world would look afterwards in the wake of the pandemic. What I did know was that I was “stuck” with my favorite person in the world (my wife of 6 months at the time) and no matter how heaven or earth looks, this here feels just right. Ironically, I wanted the song to feel like a couple was stuck inside because it was raining outside and evoke that warm, fireplace-y feeling of comfort inside the confines of a small space. But I think everyone can relate with being stuck inside in this day and age and hopefully, this song also connects with people that are quarantined with others or have a special someone on their mind in the midst of this craziness.
