Another debut EP at Atmosphere Records, but definitely not the last one coming from these guys. The motto of Stereo Express is 'Music is Fun!'. And this can be heard in their productions. 

'Gypsy Ride' is a great release to showcase what they are all about: groovy, instrumental and original sounds with a Balkan touch provided by the accordion or violin. The title track is already supported and played by artists as Hanne & Lore, Dan Caster, Toby Montana, Rene Bourgeois, Marcel Sterling, Rick Nuemann and more. 

As a nice extra, a deep minimalistic remix by Minimal Lounge is spicing up this EP that is bound to provide some of the more memorable tunes of the summer.

The new Stereo Express EP is a fact! 'La Vie En Rose' promises to be one of those hits that will mark your 2011 memories. This catchy tune with vocals by Orlando gets under your skin and soon enough also you will be screaming the lyrics in some crazed dance floor moment. The EP also includes a mega remix by one of Berlin's hottest producers of the moment, Rene Bourgeois, a real pirate romper stomper house hit with ska influences. You should hear it to know what we're talking about! 
This EP is not the final stop for this track, rather just the beginning of a worldwide journey. In cooperation with Shaker Plates the track will also be released on vinyl. The digital release will also be accompanied by an official videoclip release. And in October there will be another remix EP, keeping this track fresh for many months to come.

Marcus Meinhardt up to? He lays a hint of boom behind the track, plays with the curiosity created by delay, and garnishes the whole thing with a few more sound delights.
Acid Pauli, well, he does what Acid Pauli must do: lengthening the track to almost ten minutes, he builds a myriad of levels for psychoactive play, slowly pushing the track to its apex and slowly bringing it back, so that it can almost go without the guiding vocals.
With the digital Bonus Remix by Matthew Styles, the tempo gets yet another push. He loses the vocals altogether, mixes in a pinch of ambient and deftly puts the focus on the hypnotic undertow of the track, holding it for a full 19 minutes.

A modern nomad who has travelled the continents with his music, Nu is as diverse in his musical styles as he is well-travelled.

Taking influences from his various homes, such as Switzerland, Germany, or Peru, the producer and trained sound engineer branched out into various genres (deep house, hip hop, trip-hop, ambient, experimental, dance, and even film and dance theatre music composition). Through this years-long musical journey, Nu then found his true calling: instrumentals amalgamated with his electronic production, all held together through solid rhythms.

"Salome" is not only the A1 track of the new Upon You single from Channel X, it`s also the title of a famous oriental Foxtrott composed in 1920 by Robert Stolz. There`s not much Foxtrott left from Channel X in the year 2011, therefore the modern artists are squinting into the orient to get the inspiration for the occidental club-madness. Riding on the "Orient Express" they let the well of inspiration pass by the A2 window for this proper vinyl. During their journey, the colleagues Audiojack rub on "Salome" their patented dance-paste, which momentarily waxes almost every well known dancefloor. And finally because travelling makes contemplative, Channel X is musing about the sense of being on the Beatport exclusive digital-bonus.
