DOSE is a hip-hop and rap artist and owner of Hogtied Hitz Productions, based out of southern Illinois. Having grown up in Sandusky, Illinois, he has also lived in Cape Girardeau, MO and in Carbondale, Illinois. He got his start in music at the young age of thirteen, inspired by an older cousin. He began battle rapping with other kids in his area, and fell in love with the art of songwriting. Fast-forward to today and he has been a musician for the past seventeen years, using his music to reflect on real life experiences and to create songs that people can relate to on a personal level. Currently he has done shows in Illinois, Missouri, and Georgia and has plans to add some major cities to his list in the near future. He has several mixtapes available including Stay Thirsty vol. 1&2, GMS, and HOGG, all available on Reverbnation.
