Named a ‘stellar edits provider’ by Mixmag and the ‘nu-disco don’ by Juno, Andy Buchan​ has become one of the most consistent names in the disco and edit scene for the past few years with chart-topping releases on dozens of disco-fried labels including Peppermint Jam, Hot Digits, Midnight Riot, Paper Disco and on his own Hot Gorilla Records imprint.    

Hot Gorilla Records launched with a bang including several Juno Download No.1s, multiple Traxsource Top 10s and four tracks in the Best of 2021 Beatport chart. Plus they’ve had repeat plays from BBC 6 Music and support from Greg Wilson, Horse Meat Disco and Craig Charles. Hot Gorilla Records also supported The Brand New Heavies on their 2021 sell-out tour across the UK. 
Andy’s own music has been picked up for reviews in DJ Mag and Mixmag, plus radio support from 6Music and Rinse FM and club and festival plays from big-name DJs including Bicep, Claptone, Horse Meat Disco, Greg Wilson, Peggy Gou, Justin Robertson, Electric Chair and more. And he was also asked to enter his music collection into the British National Library Sound Archive.     
He’s currently the resident DJ at Flight Club and Chow Down in Leeds and a regular guest DJ at leading Edinburgh venue The Street. Alongside that, Andy has played across the UK in recent years, warming up for Huey 6 Music, Dr Packer, Groove Armada, Psychemagik, Hot Chip and more. 

This is just the latest chapter in Andy’s career. After freelancing for Mixmag and training as a journalist, he moved to Dubai in 2004, working for Time Out Dubai before launching DJ Mag Middle East. He was a regular on the club and festival scene, first with his own long-running, award-winning nights and with long-term residencies at Pacha and Trilogy. He was also booked for Creamfields UAE twice and cemented his open-genre, curveball DJ style by playing alongside a wide variety of DJs including Fatboy Slim, Mark Ronson, Basement Jaxx, Todd Terje, Norman Jay, Liam Gallagher, Feel My Bicep, Graeme Park and more. 

Now back in the UK, he’s become a mainstay of the disco scene while his label Hot Gorilla Records continues to grow into one of the most exciting labels in the scene including 2022 festival slots at Beatherder and Standon Calling.

sawcy is a New York-based music producer, DJ, and engineer whose work blends technical precision with undeniable vibe. With almost a decade of experience in studio environments, his productions are known for their crisp groove, clean vocal work, and genre-bending flexibility—rooted in club culture but expansive in scope.

His tracks have traveled the world, supported by high-profile DJs and featured on platforms like BBC Radio 1, while his sound design and mix sensibility continue to influence both underground scenes and commercial projects alike. Having honed his skills at top-tier studios across the city, he’s delivered records across hip-hop, house, bass music, and more — including contributions to Grammy-nominated, and Billboard charting work; bringing a deep musicality to everything he touches.

As a DJ, he brings that same level of sonic detail to the booth. Whether in a packed warehouse or a hi-fi listening bar, he balances energy and emotion with selections that span club, house, drum&bass, and nostalgic edits. He’s performed at NYC institutions like Elsewhere, Kind Regards, and Baby’s All Right, and has delivered international guest sets on Half Moon, Subtle Radio, Reprezent, and Bloop London.

With a summer full of new releases ahead, sawcy continues to carve out space at the intersection of experimental edge and dancefloor impact; bridging the gap between boundary-pushing sound and polished execution.

📋 Avec sa programmation Disco House, MARCUS est un artiste incontournable de la scène amiénoise depuis 15 ans.

Auteur de plusieurs morceaux disponibles sur les plateformes de streaming, il enregistre également chaque mois une émission musicale intitulée "Electroshock Session", relayée sur plusieurs radios françaises et téléchargée dans plus de 20 pays à travers le monde. 

Il est également membre du label de musique indépendant "Joys Productions" et co-fondateur de l'association "SDMEA" (Scène Des Musiques Électroniques Amiénoise) qui promeut, accompagne et défend les acteurs de la musique électronique à Amiens.
