Postcard 37 comes from anthéne. Also known as one half of North Atlantic Drift, Toronto based Brad Deschamps who has been putting out sublime drones on the likes of Sound in Silence, Assembly Field, Catherdral Transmissions and Polar Seas. On Colour Fields, time seems to stop altogether as fragments of guitar and keyboards meld into a drifting placid mass that shimmers throughout the duration of the entire EP.  Colour Fields has been beautifully mastered by Ian Hawgood.

Postcard 38 comes from Mind over MIDI aka Helge Tommervag. Based in deepest and darkest Norway, Helge has been working with electronic music since the beginning of the 80's and over the years has graced many labels including Beatservice, Silent Season, Beserk Fabric and diametric. On his postcard EP for us at hibernate, Helge pays tribute to his natural surroundings where strong, chilly winds blow and die down to allow gorgeous atmospheric material to shine through.

Also known as one third of the ambient super band Hotel Neon, Andrew has been putting out sublime drones on the likes of Fluid Audio, Home Normal, Archives and Polar Seas. On Maui, found sounds recorded on the island are paired with lush drones that induce a state of dream-like calm. Maui has been beautifully mastered by Tobias Hellkvist.
