Hivetribe returns to us with their second solo album and now we get even deeper into the story of the Sacred Forest. We travel far beyond it actually. Over the oceans and to the very Islands of Fluor where we meet the great Shoo, brother of the Little Sorcerer we touched upon in Jams In The Sacred Forest. Shoo is a brave warrior and we get the chance to hear his story and his thoughts about all the battles he had for his homeland and how brave he is. All that combined with images of Talking Shapes and Neon Troops that guard the land create a magnificent glowing territory where only love and peace is in charge.

Hivetribe - Talking Shape [Mindspring Music]

'Synchro' is a collection of atmospheric, dreamy and melodic tracks, with glitchy beats and textures on top, which constitute a continuous musical journey through six musical motifs.

'Noosfære’ refers to the sphere of human thought and aims to create musical journeys that allow for - and drive - the exploration of the inner worlds of thoughts, feelings and other mind-bending abstractions of the human mind. Behind 'Synchro' lies an admiration of the way music can evoke emotions. It is about tuning into one’s emotional states of being and the transformational process that arises within the listener.

The best way to experience the music is through headphones and with closed eyes, thus cutting off the outside world and thereby allowing the psychedelic sound infusions directly access to the brain. The listener is then taken on a journey, but free to explore the vast expanse of intangible space between the frequencies and synapses. What happens in that space, in that darkness, is an immersive experience limited only by your own imagination.

Behind 'Noosfære" is the danish music producer Jesper Skovgaard. He holds a Masters Degree in the field of Sound and Music Computing and makes use of field recordings, electronically generated sounds and analogue produced sounds to explore a vast array of expressions in his works. 'Noosfære" is his own little one-man army, and he composes, records and produces all of the material himself.
