ENG - Feminist Approaches to Habitat

This first episode of the co-learning spaces podcasts series on feminist approaches to habitat shares the experience from very committed women with a long history in the defense of human rights related to habitat:
Ana Falu, Maite Rodriguez and Fides Bagasao. With them we will go into a journet along the of feminist approaches within HIC, history of Women and Shelter network, as well as the history and work of the lLatin American network of women and habitat. 
The experiences in different regions give the possibility to asses the strategies to strengthen these interventions as well as the current challenges.

[ENG] Ep. 3: Women drive the caring city

Let's imagine together a feminist city.  In this episode you can hear from two women working in very different contexts talking about how collective action can bring about real change in creating more inclusive cities.

First we hear from human rights lawyer and activist: Inaam Al Asha from Jordan. 
Then we travel to Argentina where Marina Thia shares her work as part of a collective of civil society actors in a legal advocacy process concerning laws enabling self-managed housing in Buenos Aires. 


Both women are battling to protect women’s rights in their respective legal systems. The profound  impact of these collective advocacy campaigns on the lives of women in Jordan and Argentina is clear, and the power of collective action as well as media support evident. Listen to both Inaam and Marina’s experience.
