Hicham El Mzairh, aka DJ B u b b a, is a legend in Antwerp’s old-school hip-hop, funk, and Afrobeat scene.

His obsession with music started in his teenage years, driven by a deep love for ‘70s and ‘80s funk. He quickly found his way to his father’s Motown and Philadelphia record collection, shaping his signature sound.

Since 2000, he has been a resident DJ at Café au Lait, a cornerstone of Antwerp’s nightlife. As a radio DJ at Radio Stad, he keeps the old-school spirit alive, while his decade-long sets at Tomorrowland for Radio Ultra Modern have solidified his reputation far beyond Belgium.
