On October 30th, General Hydroponics, a worldwide leader in the development of organic growing supplies, will release it's second compilation album Gen Hydro Vol. 2 - Music for your soul, nutrition for you plants. With a long tradition bringing together nature and technology, the company has recently begun putting resources into the progressive reggae scene. From paying fair wages to artist's performing at Gen Hydro events,  supporting producers who create music, or covering the costs of physical items (like Rootfire's merch tent), Gen Hydro continues to become viable sponsorship alternative to a scene often dominated by clothing or liquor companies.

With the release of Gen Hydro Vol. 2 the company has activated a nationwide network of grow shops who will physically distribute the album; spreading music for the likes of Collie Buddz, Stick Figure, Dizzy Wright, Amp Live, Brother Ali, The Movement, New Kingston, IAMSU & more.
