With Amsterdam’s house scene continuing to flourish, M-High has seen his stock surge in recent months. Still young in the game, his releases and remixes via labels such as META, Moxy Muzik and Politics Of Dancing have seen him flying high alongside his fellow compatriots while also evolving from a label regular to A&R duties at PIV alongside founder Prunk. Having featured for the label’s New Year’s Day party in London, the Dutchman touches down on LOCUS for the first time with four fresh productions via his ‘Enchant Me’ EP.

Title cut ‘Enchant Me’ is a slick and classy effort fusing rich chords and skipping drums with zipping acid lines, while ‘Do You Even Groove’ pairs things back as rolling drums and sweeping electronics zig-zag through sparse textures. Next, ‘Endless Whispers’ combines sharp organ stabs with breezy pads and warm basslines, with the low-end heavy ‘Faded Senses’ closing the show and offering up yet more late-night dancefloor grooves.

Here we are again with the awaited release by the Spanish Producer Frink. As shown in past years release he is gone into the most pure Deep club Sound. That Frink is having good success and specially this year is something that anyone following the artist will know with his past releases in Bondage Music reaching the Beatport top 100 in Deep House for over a month and remixing Mihai Popoviciu in same label has make him grow, also his past release Summa into our main label Expmental went into the tops of Deep Tech for over two weeks. With his first gigs in Berlin at Sisyphos or the forthcoming at suicide Circus , playing in many different countries in Europe he is  getting more attention each year also as DJ. Huerta’s debut album for Voyage is a righteous journey along the coast of California; a psychosomatic blend of melodic rhythm, natural sounds and ambient textures.

Recorded throughout 2019, Huerta combines a blissful wash of west coast inspired ambient with the more affable, rhythmic house cuts he has been previously known for. Drawing on the surrounding landscapes of his upbringing, Huerta’s ode to the Juniper tree is an immersive and introspective experience; a long player capable of taking you to an elevated state of mind.

The vinyl version plays through continuously and will be accompanied by a feature-length animation created by UK artist Danimation.
