Noble earths are needed to fulfil humanity’s wish for digitization and technological progress. That is indeed ironic since in order to construct a world only using digits it still needs nature’s rarest elements. Therefore it must be questioned how much the digital dream is worth in the end. I wanted to convert this question into electronic music that consists of primal elements of rhythm and sound to celebrate rudimentary things that let us feel and dance – powerful elements of the past to guide us into the future.

Sommaräng was released on May 14th, 2024. The single is produced by Anders Alexander, a musician who was the engine behind Alice In Videoland and who also mixed the first three albums of Kite. The collaboration helped creating a fuller sound image uniting their different musical backgrounds. The artwork and photography was created by photographer Marisol Correa.

Nosedive takes its starting point from a real incident in which a man stole a small aircraft, remained in contact with air traffic control, and continued flying despite having no intention of landing.

The song isn’t interested in the spectacle of what happened, but in the space inside it: the calm voice on the radio, the procedural language, and the slow realization that there may be no outcome that feels survivable. As the situation unfolds, learning becomes meaningless, the rules are understood too late to offer a way back.
