Kicking off the new year we have Frame Shift, a Dublin based DJ who began DJing in early 2019.

His selections are filled with music that holds an uncompromising attitude, threading the line between bright sparks and dark recesses.

Drawing on sounds from UK Bass, such as Garage, D'n'B, and Dubstep, while incorporating the harder side of Techno, Frame Shift utilises his eclectic taste to challenge the norm.

In this mix he has focused on Techno and Breaks, spinning new tracks from some of his favourite producers, along with some older cuts, including material from Kessler, Sharpson, and Madame.

The first release round in 2022 goes to the label chef himself BOHO and his good friend Celic from Chile. The two teamed up with Bianka Banks and included her extraordinary vocals in "Bodycheck" with a remix by a rising U.S. star Speaker Honey. Besides constant support from Octopus Rec. / Desert Hearts and especially Deadmau5, now she also enjoys the connection to the JAW Family in Cologne and Berlin. The album's artwork is made by Lea Murphy from MÖRFI Tattoo.

25th Episode of Cartel Podcast with Cathédral

Co-founder and resident at the London party MASS, French DJ and producer Cathédral is an artisan of the galloping grooves, old-school rave vocals, and percussions. Coming from a classical music education playing the saxophone and the clarinet, he moved progressively to jazz and today electronic music. Rich of this background he promotes diversity in his sets, blending 90s Rave and house influences with industrial grit. After playing in Paris and around the British capital he launched LABURNŪM Records in the middle of the pandemic to promote emerging artists from London and beyond that defend the same fast and four-to-the-floor rave sound. He’s released on Expel Your Demons, Omen Recordings and his own imprints MASS and LABURNŪM.
