For our 23rd Podcast, we welcome Mark Slee who made his label debut with a gorgeous take on Beije's ‘Azimuth’. The US artist and Manjumasi label boss (alongside Atish) has a nearly two-decade long career in the electronic underground. His productions have found a home on Cityfox, Seven Villas and Tenampa Recordings, while he regularly plays San Francisco’s top venues in support of international talents like Danny Tenaglia, Danny Howells, Guy Gerber, Lee Burridge and Stimming. Now following a remix for When We Dip’s XYZ imprint.

And we could not return in greater style than presenting our resident artist Marlon Looney!
Everything this guy does is raped in magic and quality, and this mindblowing set is an authentic masterpiece, full of fresh grooves, an intense flow, and that unique touch that only the most experienced Dj's can achieve... just wow! 

We are thrilled to have this Berlin based magician on our epic team. 
Soon enough Octo will be dropping it's endless sound waves all over the Earth. It's been several years getting ready for this, but we now have an amazing team of friends with so much talent in different areas to make this all happen in the years to come. And we are so proud to see how our community has grown together, producers, DJ's, record labels, events, festivals... And we are just getting started!

NUNO DOS SANTOS | MUTO STUDIO .19.

No official burn happened this year, yet we came together in the truest spirit and created our own experience. New friends and old, we created a weekend together in a house nestled next to the beauty of Zion national park. We made something totally unique and magical - a reflection of all of us who shared our time an energy with each other. We didn’t need that specific spot in the Black Rock Desert to be great.

This set was recorded during our “Berlin Banger” theme night. Straddling the borders of techno, tech house, and progressive, this set was a journey through whips and chains and leather and grunge. We partied until the sun was a faded memory in our own special version of Berlin.

The last 6 minutes of the set is something I added in post production as a tribute to the weekend. Someone captured audio of our friend Meira’s beautiful impromptu recitation of “A Burner’s Prayer” during our own man burn ceremony, which I used to create a track to memorialize the moment.

In this first takeover we can enjoy music by Hanzo; Mexican DJ known for his powerfull selection in which he combines raw and deep sounds. He is one of México City’s up and coming DJ’s; thanks to his unique sound and music selection.
