#IndustryStandard is a collection of songs aimed to tackle "Industry Standard" music genres on different tracks. This album is more up-tempo and in your face, but it still blends together elements of Rock, Country, Soul, Trap, Hip-Hop, and R&B. Hidntrackz worked to make this album more concise than previous album to stay on focus with the message that he was trying to deliver. He thinks #IndustryStandard pulls this off in a great way.  Vocals on some of the songs feature MICHAEL YOUNG, WILLIE REYNOLDS, BIG MAGIC, BEN TREXEL, and DEE PAYNE.
 
It’s rare to find a father, husband, artist, producer, entrepreneur, videographer, writer, songwriter, promoter = Mogul in Training doing all of these things and more. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, HidNTrackz always had interest in the world of soulful R&B and hip-hop. He realized his potential in the music world and began writing and creating his own songs while in college. His EP, The Misconceptions of Me was carefully crafted when he took many personal experiences and created personal masterpieces to offer the hip-hop and rap world.  For HidNTrackz, the next great song was always right there at his fingertips. For years, the southern songwriter/hip-hop/rapper has written from his personal experiences. “I really focus on making music that speaks from my soul and what I’m experiencing in those moments. My music almost error on the side of being too personal, but I feel that real life experiences, especially obstacles and setbacks, exposes the best canvases to create some of the most beautiful art.”

On this track "Golden Gates", I reached out to my late uncle Michael Young who helped to bring this chorus to life for me. 

My uncle Mike always supported my music. He would come to studio sessions and just chill, come to all my show and events, and would just ride with me to do an event somewhere. We really bonded off of the love and joy of music. 

My uncle Mike sang in church choirs, rock bands, and everything else in between. He told me one thing, he said "nephew, never stop trying and making music. You have a gift, the right people just ain't heard it yet." With that said I'm on a mission to get my new and catalog music into ears of as many people possible. I hope you enjoy!

From a young boy HidNTrackz always had a passion for music. It started as little boy listening to his mother playing Prince as his father was looking for his Earth, Wind, & Fire. HidNTrackz excelled in sports and academics early on. It wasn't until later on in life did HidNTrackz realize he had a talent for music. He always knew he was paying attention to things, lyrically and sonically, that his counterparts had no clue about. After hearing one his friends being featured on a late night Hip Hop Freestyle show on college radio (UA), something clicked in him to where he thought hey maybe I can do this. 
"I feel like I got a lot to offer to the game", says HidNTrackz. "You know when you got that song and at the end there's that hidden track. Well, that song may end up being better than the song that's featured!" It's this type of mentality that has pushed HidNTrackz to become the artist that he is. Combining a hard work ethic and a street smart business savvy, HidNTrackz has arrived full force and looking to take no prisoners.
