Schrödinger’s Box found a true audio delinquent when they discovered Rapha. Resident at Alphabet Club in Tel Aviv, this is a musician who creates tracks with a punk attitude and a painted acid smile. The co-founder of Chateau Royal arrives with four blistering numbers for our box. After the pounding percussion and 303 smears of “Ivanka”, this sidewinder synthesist unfurls the brooding darkness that is “Transform.” Lighter tones pierce the gloom in the carefully crafted “Visionia” before The Exaltics lands for some deep and dreamy electro with an incredible remake of “Voyager101.” Rapha’s original of “Voyager101” closes the 12”. Rasping rhythm patterns cut a path for rich dauby analogue bars in this stripped-back, late-night close.

TL PREMIERE : Rapha - Voyager101 [Schrödinger's Box]

Nos vamos a Valencia para presentarles el siguiente artista invitado, su nombre es Teo Sánchez (Cabanyal Resistance), y es el encargado de firmar la decimocuarta entrega de nuestra serie de Mixes.

Su andadura musical comienza en el año 1987 cuando a través de la radio descubre la maravillosa década musical de los 80 y el comienzo de la electrónica, dando paso a uno de los sonidos esenciales a día de de hoy como es el New beat, Acid house, Ebm, o el Electro. Influenciado en esta época por bandas como Kraftwerk, Afrika Bambaataa o Juan Atkins.

Su andadura profesional comenzó en el año 93 trabajando en la tienda de discos Alliance Records, a través de la cual comenzaron sus primeras actuaciones. Teo ha colaborado con varios colectivos valencianos promotores de eventos ofreciendo una vertiente mas electrónica (Colectivo de Sushi, Minimalistik Girl e Hypnotica Colectiva) actuando en numerosos eventos y festivales de su ciudad.

Es un lujazo contar con un Podcast suyo por la calidad que desprenden sus sesiones tanto en la mezcla (100% vinilo) como en la selección musical. En sus sets predomina el Electro, aunque en esta ocasión nos ha preparado un mix cargado de Breaks melódico y elegante con un toque de Acid, mezclado a la perfección.

Influenced by many experimental, synth, wave and industrial bands, 80's - 90's production, classical music and brothers tape collections, Maja began her DJ career just a few years ago. As a part of small but powerful Zagreb based bRAVE crew - together with Ikonal and Le Chocolat Noir, she presents interesting, energetic, sometimes eclectic sets that can vary between
techno, electro, EBM, acid, avant-garde and various experimentations. Keep an eye out for her upcoming entry to the Casting.

A track written on 6/06, hence the heavy use of the TR-606 drum machine. Other machines used were: System 8, MicroFreak, Peak, Minilogue, TB03, SH01, SE02, and Hydrasynth all of which were triggered by an MPC One.

The Detroit-based producer and DJ released an album, MINDFRAME: CYCLES, on @specimenrecords in 2021 and has also appeared on labels including @diffusereality, @naturalsciences and @lloydstellar's @ldirecords. He also has a monthly show, MINDFRAME, on Deep Space Radio. We had the pleasure of watching Francois Dillinger perform a live set at this year's Movement and are so thankful to host this superb DJ mix by him.

FRANCOIS DILLINGER debuted his hybrid live and DJ set at Propaganda for the ECU Showcase using 2xCDJs and an Elektron Analog Rytm. In between electro classics and new cuts, Dillinger layered drum rhythms as a third deck and in some cases remixed his own tracks live as well as debuting some exclusive edits and forthcoming tracks from EPs coming soon on ECU and PPRZ.
