LUSCIOUS is a DJ & Creative based in Leeds who hosts the monthly Sable Radio (@sable.radio) show 'XTRAVA:GANZA'. Within his show and creative practice, LUSCIOUS explores rave culture, queerness and race whilst taking influence from philosophies and styles of these histories to evoke a new and inclusive perspective of the future. His DJ sets often blend between old school rave tracks and fresh club edits to repurpose the euphoria and hi-NRG of the music he grew up listening to into a contemporary sound. He has a huge passion for music of all genres and eras and loves to find ways to infuse them all via blends, edits and samples.

LUSCIOUS recently did a guest mix for Manchester-based collective Mutualism’s NTS show, and has been found playing in Leeds at Wharf Chambers and Beaverworks. He creates his own artwork for his mixes as well as beginning working as a Graphic Designer within the music & arts industries - his design work is as vibrant, high energy and playful as his mixing. 

"I created this mix as an ode to the experiences I’ve had in inclusive clubbing spaces (High Hoops in particular!) where I’ve felt comfortable & proud with my identity, free to express myself, and felt true euphoria. These were the emotions I channelled into the songs and energy I’ve curated - euphoria, pride, and joy - and I hope those that feel the same about these valuable spaces can relate to that. As the sun has been shining over the last week as I recorded this, I also wanted to capture that atmosphere of dancing through a summer day and into the night, moments of beauty as the sun sets like you’re on a beach in Ibiza, the music intensifying in speed and genre as it falls darker. Expect breakbeat, eurodance, trance and sprinkles of hardcore."

Rubber Works Manchester can confirm that we have reached an agreement in principle with Great Danes for the loan of striker Cone to the Club on 22nd December 2023. The transfer remains subject to the Club finalising terms with the player.

Rubber Works Manchester are delighted to announce the signing of Cone from Great Danes. Cone will join the club on 22nd December after penning a one-week deal which keeps him at the Night de Date Studio until the following Friday. In time for the biggest game of the season - Broken Hearts (A).

He’s the man behind Manchester’s Great Danes, who have had the likes of Fiyadred, Hodge, Oblig, and Konrad Wehrmeister perform at their iconic parties. Cone is a true pioneer of musical selection and the promotion of upcoming artist talent - embodying the spirit of the past, present, and future of Manchester’s and London’s music scene, where he is now based. We will be there, it’s date night.
